Born
in May 1943 in
Burg/Magdeburg, Siegfried Geldner studied Law and Business
Administration in Freiburg, Marburg and Mayence, successfully passing
his first state examination in law in 1970, followed by the second
state examination in law in 1973.
Prior to
that, from
1973
to 1981, he acted in various functions, e.g. as assistant to
the management board of a consulting company, as head of the CEO´s
office of a credit insurer, and as General Counsel and a member of the
management board of an American distribution company.
From
1981
to 1994, he was one of three acting partners of an IT-company
with business activities in the areas of financing, rental and trade of
IT-hardware, especially IBM mainframes. He managed the departments of
Accounting and Contracts Services, Organization, Legal Services and
Human Resources, selling his shares in 1994.
From
1994 to 2003,
before Siegfried Geldner used his comprehensive experiences and
competencies to drive his present company forward, he was an
independent advisor for corporate planning and strategy, providing
consulting services for customers in the financial services,
manufacturing and trade industries.
Siegfried
Geldner has a pragmatic hands-on approach. This quality, combined with
his academic and professional education, with his long-term business
experience in various industries and different functions - mainly as an
entrepreneur - , has shaped the way he works, handles challenges and
finds the right solution.
